Principal's Message

Timberwolves,

Welcome to Banks Trail Middle School.  It is a great pleasure to be a part of such an amazing school community.  We work hard to ensure the safety and security of everyone in our building, to deliver world class instruction, and to provide a variety of opportunities for students to explore their interests and make the most out of the Middle School years.    

Banks Trail is a unique school. We have a faculty of the most talented, passionate, and caring educators that I have ever come across. Our students are amazing and it is a privilege to get to work with this collection of young people each day. Our parents in the community are very supportive and involved with school life. We have a beautiful partnership that allows us to do some great things for our students.

You will hear about The Trail  in all that we do here. The Trail  is a pathway to student growth and success. At Banks Trail we emphasize teaching, modeling, and encouraging the characteristic of Teamwork, Responsibility, Ambition, Integrity, and Leadership. Our students will leave here prepared and ready to do well in High School. I encourage our students to take full advantage of all that we offer here at BTMS. I want our students to be challenged in their classrooms, to try new things, to make new friends, to overcome obstacles, and to enjoy coming to school each day. Our students will make connections with their teachers and grow as learners in our building. I challenge all of our students to make the most of their three years here and to leave their mark on The Trail.
